Consumerism and the manufacturing that goes along with it are important for our livelihoods and quality of life. But of course the result of this behaviour has detrimental effects on the environment including the usage of raw materials like oil, the electricity of manufacturing and the waste of obsolete/finished goods. But these environmental impacts can be reduced and even at times completely mitigated. At Warringah Displays we are committed to being a positive force in environmental sustainability.
At every stage of the design and manufacturing process we are conscious about reducing unnecessary waste. A lot of this is achieved through our lean manufacturing program and following internationally recognised environmental standards. We are achieving this by ordering material cut to size (reducing off cuts) and by using smart design to increase yields of sheet material. We are also investing in smart electrical systems and machines that require nearly 50% less power than traditional machines. Our thorough design process tries to eliminate the use of fasteners and adhesives that make recycling difficult, and rather trying to design snap or slot fitting parts where possible. Any ABS, ASA and HDPE off-cuts we recycle through our recycling partners and this material comes straight back to our very factory minimising the load on landfill.
Vacuum Forming is a process that converts a flat sheet of plastic into a 3D part. This is achieved by heating the plastic sheet and pressing it into a mould whilst vacuum is applied.
Once parts are moulded they then need to be trimmed to the correct shape which at Warringah Displays is performed by our CNC Trimming machine.
Vacuum forming can be used to create thin walled packaging right up to heavy duty mud guards and dashboards.
Vacuum forming is a very efficient process for medium to high volume production. Utilising extruded sheets of plastics opens up many design possibilities including embossed patterns and even specific colours for runs over 1 tonne.
We have 2 state of the art 5-Axis CNC trimming machines which complete the Vacuum Forming process. Using saw blade and router cutters the excess material is trimmed away and high tolerance details can be trimmed into the mouldings.
CNC trimming ensures consistency and speed which in turn benefits our clients through lower costs and high quality plastic components.
Our 3 Axis CNC Cutter is ideal for cutting flat sheet for plastic fabrication. We can cut thin and thick guage sheets up to 2500mm x 1500mm.
At Warringah Displays we offer a wide variety of fabrication and assembly services. Some of these include ultrasonic welding, heat bending, gluing, diamond polishing, flame polishing, drilling clicker press and boxing and delivery.

From retail counter top solutions all the way through to building and billboard signage, any scale, any shape, any colour, we can deliver. Whether your signage requires good weather, heat or UV resistance or high impact strength we can work with you to design and manufacture a custom product to suit your needs. Our signs can also be illuminated for even greater effect!
Our refined distortion printing process offers a whole new dimension to vacuum forming. Pre-printed sheet material can be moulded for a whole variety of purposes from point of sale counter units to poker machine gaming frames. Distortion printed products can be illuminated which can create some amazing glowing effects from the print through the plastic.

Our designers utilise Solidworks and rendering programs which allow us to test the dimensions and functionality of your product as well as creating stunning presentation images.
The Flat Vac is a premium looking semi-permanent product display offered at an affordable price. The Flat Vac is of course a flat packed unit which can dramatically save transportation costs and can be assembled in a matter of seconds, with the sides slotting into place and then the 3 PVC shelves being located into place. The finished result is a tight and durable display.
The great thing about the Flat Vac is its flexibility. The main body is constructed from PVC foam meaning that there is a wide range of standard colour options available for the base colour. We can even print whole graphics across the unit, something that many other products simply don’t offer at our price. Alternatively if you just want your logo on the unit we can place a vinyl sticker on the header. We currently offer the Flat Vac in our stock size of:

The Promo Tub is a brand new type of semi-permanent dump bin which is designed to be easy to construct by store staff. The 3mm PVC foam dump bin comes in a variety of colours and like our Flat Vac Unit it can be printed on for even greater effect. The slot design is extremely rigid and has one shelf that can even hold tennis balls fully stacked to the top. Additional card headers are available and vinyl logo stickers can also be applied.
